As Marian Calabro’s website says: “If it involves writing and editing, chances are I've done it.” Marian started her career in Manhattan as a promotional writer in the heyday of paperback publishing. She has since written 18 nonfiction history books for young adults and business audiences, ranging from the award-winning "The Perilous Journey of the Donner Party" (Clarion/Houghton Mifflin) to a recent 100th-anniversary history of The Clorox Company. As a business writer she has appeared on The History Channel and The Travel Channel. She is also a published poet, a produced playwright, and a popular creative writing workshop leader at the Adult School of Montclair.
